Education: what I believe it is

Education: what I believe it is
Education is not just learning few concepts of physics or cramming few theorems from the first to last punctuation. It is the very essence of life, it is an unending process that continually enriches and refreshes. The concepts of core education cannot be defined by any given definition however; an attempt can be made to understand what they can be. Here in this article I have tried to evaluate the basic concepts of education as seen through the human development.
Education begins with the moment a child opens its eyes for the very first time and continues throughout his life. That very first look into the world introduces him to the person with whom he or she shares that special bond, and instantly knows whom he or she has to look forward to for the rest of the life and whom it can trust blindly forever.  Thus the learning process begins with the basic core concept of education: acknowledgement and knowing of the very existence of anything.
Then the child begins to interact with the world sees how the world has evolved around him. He or she is a mere spectator, many a times often mistaken for his/her naivety but this is time when he/she is learning the very basics of life, the language and the dynamics of the relationships, the respect and the expressions. He/she then learns how to react to the stimuli. By the age of 4 weeks the baby has learnt enough that what are happy emotions and whom he can trust and thus smiles at their parents. This milestone may not be accredited to be a very important by many but it is and definitely symbolises a major development in the emotional growth of a baby. Thus here we can identify the second basic concept of education: listening and observing the world around you.
Then comes the phase in the child where he/she masters the art of doing and undoing. This is interesting phase in the life of parents when they see their child as a mischievous little being trying everything that comes his/her way. Here he/she learns by making mistakes, this is where he/she learns what is wrong and what is right. He/she gets punished every time he/she makes a mistake, be it through pain upon touching a flame or be it through the parent/ teacher. Now the culture is imbibed into him, this phase of life shapes the very ideology that he is going to believe in. This is where we identify third core concept of education: learning by doing.
The child becomes an adult; a juggernaut of information awaits him/her. He/she is forced to know things which are irrelevant to him/her, and thus begins the tortuous journey of dodging and absorbing information. Here is where he/she assimilated the knowledge that is gathered through the journey of life and creates wisdom which he or she chooses to pass on. This is the phase of realization and maturation of the knowledge. This is the where the education epitomises into wisdom, enriched with the years of experience.
Thus we come to the Russell Ackoff’s Re-Creating the Corporation, according to which learning is the acquisition of data, information, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom

www.Mytestbuddy.com is an endeavour to create an ideal atmosphere where learning becomes education where data becomes wisdom. Here you study for your examinations through the experience of others. You study at your pace in your comfort zone. Ask questions to your peers raise opinions and help others in their areas of difficulties. Hope you find our approach to education basic and comprehensive at the same time.
